    Because of continued growth across the country,Stantec have engaged us to recruit a Transportation Modellers to join their Christchurch team to work on major projects across New Zealand and Australasia.

    This role is responsible for investigating, advising and reporting on transport planning/engineering matters and will assist colleagues technically, and in the management of projects. Other key responsibilities include designing, interpreting and presenting transport and travel surveys; writing clear reports and presenting options/recommendations to clients; interrogating transport models to forecast the effects of different road improvements, policy changes and/or public transport schemes; and the interpretation of modelling results as well as contributing to development of area wide or corridor transport strategies.

    In addition to holding a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Planning, or a related discipline, you will also be a current member of the NZPI or Engineering New Zealand. Successful candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of transport planning and sound knowledge of the wider transport sector across both the private and public sectors within New Zealand. Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential attributes for this position. At least 5 years’ experience within Transport Planning or Engineering is required for this role.
