The role

• Manage onsite operations to ensure work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and to company specifications
• Accurately interpret plans, specifications and instructions and supervise construction of the works in terms of them
• Manage subcontractor scopes of works, subcontractor sequencing, and daily issues onsite
• Be a key contact with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors and utilise your strong account management skills to help projects run smoothly
• Manage and maintain project documentation and reports, including project controls, progress reports and administration

The candidate

• Experience running construction sites
• Sound knowledge of New Zealand building codes and associated legislations
• Experience with sub-contractor management
• 10 + years’ experience in site management, at least 3 of these years based in New Zealand
• A history of promoting site safety, along with relevant training and certifications
• Experience with all aspects of civil, residential, and commercial site management will be highly regarded
• Full drivers license
