They are currently looking for a driven individual to help lead design and transition the department from external consultancies to be done internally.
As the MEP Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects for a wide range of clients from small scale fitouts to large scale, complex developments. This includes the design and delivery of different Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical engineering solutions while working with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the company’s and clients’ requirements. The initial focus of the position is to lead the transition of bringing the MEP design work capabilities from external consultants to be completed in house. As the role develops and more of the MEP design work is done internally, you will be responsible for growing, motivating, mentoring and the team to meet project requirements. You will also be responsible for establishing and fostering strong relationships with clients and scoping business development opportunities.
We are interested in speaking with individuals that hold a tertiary degree in Mechanical or Electrical or relevant Engineering, 4+ years’ design experience working on new builds and refits across residential, commercial, and industrial projects (with at least some of that experience in NZ). You will have passion for your work and a drive to grow your team and the organisation.
